Flight over the Nasca lines. Best view of the lines you have from a small plane. The tours take about ½ hour.
Chauchilla and Paredones: excursion to the Chauchilla cemetery where still are a lot of bones, skulls, mummies and pottery. Then to the Paredones ruins, an Inca Aquaduct on pre-inca base, still providing water. ½ day.
Nazca fue fundada en 1591 sobre el emplazamiento de una antigua población indígena que destacó por su arte en tejido, cerámica y sistemas de riego; es allí donde florecio la cultura Nazca reconocida por sus enigmáticas líneas dibujadas en las pampas del desierto, tiene una extensión de 350 kmts, las inmensas lineas geométricas solamente pueden ser vistas de las alturas y por ello han llevado a las mas variadas especulaciones sobre su origen y función.
